We reply to everyone, even when the answer is no. Auditions happen in Petlawad and over video for anyone outside Madhya Pradesh. Nobody pays us to audition, ever, and we do not work with agencies that charge actors.

Do I have to pay to audition at Mann Studios?
No. Auditioning is free and it always will be. We pay the people we cast and the crew we hire, nobody pays us to be seen, and we do not work with agencies that charge actors for introductions.
Where are the auditions held?
In Petlawad, Madhya Pradesh, and over video for anyone outside the state. The video route is not a lesser one — it is how we have cast people from across India, and it is judged the same way.
What should an actor send?
One photo, one minute of video, and where you are based. That is the whole list. You do not need a portfolio, a showreel, a headshot from a studio, or any previous credit.
Is there crew work as well as acting work?
Yes. We are usually looking for assistant camera, sound and production people. Tell us what you have worked on, what gear you own, and what you want to learn next — the last one matters as much as the first.
Will I hear back if you do not cast me?
